Cairns Aquarium, Twighlight Tour and 3-Course Dinner:

Start your Great Barrier Reef experience with an exclusive after hours Twilight Tour at Cairns Aquarium, followed by a 3 Course Dinner in the Cairns Aquarium aquatic themed restaurant. Guided by a wildlife educator, you’ll get a unique insight into the most rare and elusive reef creatures, and witness the transition from day to night, as nocturnal creatures move about in the shadows.

Ideal pre-reef learning experience, you’ll see and interact with the region’s most fascinating marine life, come face to face with the ocean’s largest predators and even see some of the dangerous and deadly inhabitants of the reef.

• 3.15pm: Begin your guided 2-hour Twilight tour with a Wildlife Educator
• 5.15pm: Indulge in a 3-Course Dinner in our aquatic themed restaurant

Full Day Reef Cruise Snorkelling onboard Evolution:

Spot the aquatic creatures you met at Cairns Aquarium on a full day cruise exploring the magical Outer Great Barrier Reef, onboard the award-winning super yacht, Evolution. Departing from Cairns, you’ll visit and enjoy snorkelling at two spectacular reef locations, in one of the richest and most complex natural ecosystems on earth, to marvel at the stunning colours of the coral and marine life.

With all snorkelling equipment and tuition provided, you’ll also enjoy a gourmet buffet lunch and a complimentary glass of wine with afternoon tea on your return journey.

• 7.15am - 7.45am: Self drive to the Reef Fleet Terminal, 1 Spence Street for check-in and departure
• 8.00am: Evolution departs Cairns to the first Reef Location
• 11.30am: Enjoy a BBQ buffet lunch onboard
• 1.00pm: Evolution arrives at the second reef location
• 3.00pm: Evolution departs Cairns
• 4.30pm: Evolution arrives back in Cairns

What to bring:

Aquarium: Camera with no flash to not harm the animals, phone/pen and paper if you want to document reef creatures, credit card for souvenirs and drinks at the restaurant.

Reef: Hat, towel, marine friendly sunscreen, camera, swimming costume, cash or credit card for additional snacks, souvenirs or optional activities (diving, semi-submarine, helicopter flights, marine biologist tours etc.).

The Cairns Aquarium Twilight experience is available Tuesday - Saturday. The Reef Cruise is available 7 days, pre-booking is recommended.
