Full day Great Barrier Reef Tour Snorkelling from Cairns

Evolution is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built, high-speed 35-metre superyacht, with a cruising speed of 30 knots, providing a comfortable, safe and luxurious reef cruise from Cairns. You will spend five hours visiting two spectacular Outer Great Barrier Reef Destinations (Norman OR Saxon and Hastings Reef).

After cruising for 80 minutes, we reach the first reef location to being your reef adventure snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef! Explore the magical underwater world, spotting an abundance of colourful fish, coral and marine life. If you are interested in diving, you can add up to 3 introductory or certified scuba dives at checkout.

With all that snorkelling, you will have worked up an appetite. While you were in the water, the crew were busy preparing a delicious BBQ lunch including fresh fish, prawns, steak, vegetarian options and a variety of salads.

After lunch, it is time to snorkel the second location on the reef tour, Hastings Reef. Keen to stay dry? No problem! You can laze around on one of our three sun decks for the afternoon. Then, it's time to cruise back to Cairns with a glass of complimentary wine and a snack to cheers to a great day on the Great Barrier Reef with Evolution.

Kuranda Scenic Railway and Skyrail Cableway

Kuranda Scenic Railway is the original scenic rail journey to Kuranda. This spectacular experience travels over bridges and through tunnels hand-made by North Queensland’s pioneers over 100 years ago. Traversing the World Heritage-listed rainforest of the Barron Gorge National Park this is one of the world’s great railway journeys. After free time in Kuranda, skim the Rainforest as you return via Skyrail Cableway. Now includes the opportunity to experience THE EDGE LOOKOUT overlooking famous Barron Falls!

Do the tours need to be consecutive days?

No, multi-day tours do not need to be consecutive. As we are operating different days for different tours, they may not be able to be consecutive either. Important information:

Helicopter: 130kg weight restrictions apply for helicopter rides.

Diving: All divers must complete a Queensland Medical Questionnaire onboard. Certified divers must show an internationally recognised scuba card. Minimum age for Introductory divers and dive courses: 12+ years and Certified divers: 10+ years. Please read the important diving safety information prior to booking.

Child Age: note for packages with Skyrail, the child age is 4-14 years.
